After studying cinema at the Sorbonne in Paris, David Halphen started in 2009 with the writing of the short film ‘‘Les Incroyables aventures de Fusion Man’’ which was part of a collection of shorts against homophobia for Canal +, with Raphaël Personnaz as the lead actor. Also starring Fred Chau, Félix Moati and Mélanie Bernier, this film directed by Xavier Gens and Marius Vale tells the story of the first gay french superhero who must face and defeat a homophobic supervillain. After working on the short ‘‘The nail’’ as the first assistant director, he went on directing the medium length animation film ‘‘Norma and Byron’’ now in post-production. He is also working on developing several projects, both short and full feature films.
